On the 24th of April the NSPA and the Bothnian Corridor Group are arranging a seminar in the European Parliament on the increasing importance of the supply of raw materials and transport from the high north for the sustainable growth of the European economy.

April 24, 15.00-17.00

The network Northern Sparsely Populated Areas and the Bothnian Corridor Group in cooperation with MEP Marita Ulvskog & MEP Liisa Jaakonsaari cordially invite you to a seminar on raw material and transport in the High North with keynote speakers from the European Commission and representatives of the industry.

The Bothnian Corridor is of great importance for the transnational flow of goods within the EU and to/from the EU. It connects Sweden and Finland in the north and provides new possibilities for the flow of goods to and from the North Sea, the Arctic, Barents and Asia, contributing to the proper function of the Internal Market linking raw material depositories to markets.
